I came back to buy it the next day. Guess what? It was gone!

I found a Pigtronix Echolution for $250 and an EQD Ghost Echo for $100, but they both sold before I could make it back to GC and I was all:

There was a Very Special Twosome for $199 two days ago, but I guess someone found it.

I got an early 80's MIJ Ibanez AM50 with the OHSC for a pretty good price at a GC this summer. Can't stop playing that damn thing. My other guitars are pissed.

I've found some good used shit @ GC, both my local store and online.
top picks are probably a Fender Toronado for $375 and my V4 for $550 + shipping (about $600 total).

I got both my Yamaha SBV-500 and SGV-300 from there. Both were $200 plus $20 shipping, and the SBV came with a $100+ Levy's gig bag.
Best gear purchases ever! I scour their used section for an SBV-550 from time to time.

I got an Epi Dot Deluxe and I got it as a pedal swap, they gave me bad value on a few but suprisingly good value on some pretty beat up pedals.

Oh and I just got an old DOD FX64 delay for 20 bucks!

Went to my guitar center recently and they have tons of cool pedals on the used section now.

I got my M13 (in immaculate condition) off of used.guitarcenter.com for something like $250.

My national was in one, I actually passed it up the first time even though I really wanted it...left regretting it.

A month or so later, it was back in there...and I had just sold my valveking. So uhh, yeah.

My GC used section purchases so far:

Gretsch 5120 - traded straight up for my '90s Fender Deville
Dunlop Octavio - $60
Big Muff (black russian) - $40
Rat 2 - $40
Broken Line 6 DL4 - $85 (couldn't get it working, so I returned it)

I've seen LOTS of Devi pedals on their used site for pretty cheap. I keep meaning to pick one up, haven't gotten around to it yet. I've found that there's some really good deals to be had there, and it's nice to be able to buy used gear and have the possibility of returning it if there are any surprises when you get it home.

Because of this thread, I picked up a slicer for half off new.

one thing i always look for on used.guitarcenter.com is original Way Huge pedals. they were cheap back in the day and sold at a whole bunch of music shops, and with lots of them being reissued it's only a matter of time before an employee there screws up. i've already seen one original Aqua Puss on eBay mistaked for a reissue by the seller. have yet to spot something on GC.com but it's a matter of time.

Should have put in on hold... those are super rare...

I can't count how many times that has happened to me at GC... best was my Kelly, I tried it and loved it and was going to come back the nect day and a bandmate put in on hold to fuck with me/help...

I need to go to guitarcenter today now. Maybe do some swappage.
