Like that. Except I don't want to spend the money, and I need it by Friday. Cheap alternatives?

I have one of those... [some one gave it to me] It is "cute" but interms of it staying in place, and powering it... not so cute...

Oh yeah, Christmas lights are great! They're cool draped on cabs and stuff too. This may produce some hum but I doubt that will really bother you.

I have seen people wrap Christmas lights around their pedals.

go to the dollar store and grab 2 clip on reading lights.

Or radio shack has LED's now with a built in resistor, almost impossible to screw up,

I use christmas lights, I use the lid of my board to house my powersupplies, so I just toss it in the lid and stand it up in front of my board.

As mentioned before, a couple clip on reading lights would probably be the closest alternative. I plan to buy a couple and velcro the bottom so I can just stick em on top of the board before gigs.

there's a setup where you buy USB powered Laptop Lights and hook up a powered USB hub. not the cheapest unless you're a huge nerd (raises hand) that has 3 or 4 powered USB hugs laying around.

i have all the stuff to do it, i've just been lazy about actually mounting the junk.
