Putting a single coil in a humbucker slot

Can this be done?
I have a ES-335 copy that I want to put singles in instead of HBs.
I'm sure I saw a speacial mounting case that fitted a humbucker slot but was cut for a single, but I might have just dreamed it or something.
Anyone?

I've seen them before, it can be done, though you may have to make some additional holes. Have you considered p90s? They are common in 335 types, and would be an easier drop in I'd think.

I made one once for an LP,
I actually just cut a piece of plastic that fit around the singlecoil and inside of the pickup ring
It worked fine but the tone sucked, maybe just my opinion but regular single coils in a guitar with that neck angle really chew up sustain.

I haven't gotten to the point where I can/want spend $100+ on a single pup, but they probably sound great.

I was just gonna link to the GFS thingys, which i saw on another forum. i'm sure i've seen others around on the Net somewhere, but i know i've seen those this week.
