Odd value wah pots (needed)

Post by Jero »

I need a 10k wah pot for a build I'm working on, but can only find them in 500k, 100k, and 50k. Tried adding a resistor to the 100k I have and it was not smooth enough.

I've considered getting just the gear (like $2 at smallear), and using bondo or something to attach it to a long shaft 10k. Have to make sure it's got the 1cm thread to instead of the smaller usual one.

Any ideas?

dunlop makes a 20k pot for the bass wah. 20k resistor across the lugs 1 & 3. you can also make your own. smallbear has everything you need. if you email him, he will sort you out.
