Elements and downtuning?

I am a long time lurker here and just decided to join up. I am curious about the Elements (my birthday is also next week). I tune my guitar down to A standard and am looking for something to tighten things up a little bit. At least as much as possible when tuning that low. Would the Elements be able to do that?

I think so... Check out Kayzers demo of it. He's a downtooner

Yes it will tighten up with some adjustments of the EQ.

Welcome to the forum, radish!
I'd say the Elements can do that for you.. I like to play it with a 7-string tuned to A and I like to tighten it up too and it works nicely. What I do is scoop some bass with the bass cut toggle, either middle or upper position, and then boost in some bass with the bass knob to add some punch. (the toggle cuts bass going through the gain stages and then the bass knob lets you bring some back after the gain stages, for some boominess)
Check out the videos by xtimehascomex and MrExcane, they do Elements demos with low tunings. Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks!

I have demos of both Drop C and Drop A with the Elements. Check my sig for demos.

Great demos! I ended up taking advantage of the birthday deal. I was losing too much clarity with Drop G, so I tuned up to Drop A which has helped a lot. The Elements is exactly what I wanted out of a distortion. It even kicked my Rat and Thermionic tube overdrive off the board.

Good tip about the drop G, I never play that low.. doesn't sound great down there hey? My lowest tuned guitar here is Bb... must get lower. *lil Jon*
Really happy to hear you're liking it, thanks again!
