Low-watt tube amp that works good with fuzz pedals

So, I'm not liking the way my JCA20h seems to take to fuzz pedals. Time for a new amp. I mostly play Alt. Rock, Punkish Indie, Shoegaze, Sludge and Ambient Post-rock stuff (black metal as well but I use Amplitube for that). I have a budget of about $400 and I love the way the Fender Blues Jr. and the Orange Tiny Terror sound, I'm just not sure of how well they'll take to slamming monstrous amounts of fuzz gain into them,.

I had a JCA20h and mine sounded shit with pedals too. I just said screw it and got a solid state. I think pedals sound better with them.

Blues Junior sounded really good with fuzz when I had one. As far as small, low-wattage tube amps go,I use a Silverface Champ, a Silvertone Amp in a case, and a 70's red plaid Guyatone of some sort. And they take pedals very well.

It does, sounds good enough at lower volumes and can get loud enough to have the neighbours call the cops on you.

I read this and was all like "Sovtek MIG50, Ampeg B15, Ashdown Little Bastard..."
Then I realized how y'all were talking about guitar amps.

They better be, as much as I like the TT with guitar, it's turrible for bass.

Having had both of those amps, I can tell you they both take fuzz super well.
The Blues Junior in particular is great. I love mine, and it takes pedals super well.

I thought they had zero headroom, though? That's the impression I get from demos, anyway, and I feel like some headroom is desirable if you're feeding it pedals.

It's got decent headroom.
Crank the volume, and use the gain knob as volume, and you will have moar headroom than you know what to do with.
