stereo split cable suggestions?

I got a pedal with a TRS stereo out that I want to split to two amp inputs. I'm thinking wire two single conductor cables to the TRS jack and have them share shrink tubing on the way out of the jack. Is that workable? Better ideas?

when you use two amps, sometimes you get hum. anyway, you should connect the ground on both cables to the ground on the stereo jack.

Yep. Ground-lift a cable (just one) on the amp side if a hum occurs with two amps rather than tamper with the safety ground on either amp.

you can also use a small signal transformer to balance one of the signals. this is how lahle does it on the p-split
