So I'm start high school this coming up thursday, and I was wondering if you could share some of your experiences/stories from when you were in high school.I'm pretty sure I'm the youngest one on the board, so most of you should have some stuff to share.

Judging by your avatar you're off to a very very good start.
Otherwise, the best advice I can give is be real, be you. High school is not the end of the road no matter how much the authority in there like to propagate that it is. The social pressures of school seem like that's all that matters, being real weeds out a lot of it, not all, and the rest doesn't always matter if you're content with who you are (that's the real struggle, figuring that part out). In my experience, I found what I really wanted, the friends I really wanted, and the girl I really wanted by just totally being real and honest in ever way.
The End.

Not to sound like an old fart (I'm not even 30 yet), but seriously, enjoy all the free time that you have to play music. I joined my first band in high school. High school is when I started to really get into both playing and listening to music. I remember coming home from school every day and playing guitar for literally hours and hours.
These days, with a wife and two small kids at home, I'm lucky if I get in an hour of playing a week. I wouldn't trade it for anything, because they're all awesome, but simple fact of life, as you get older, you have more responsibilities, and more responsibilities means less free time.
So that's the advice part that you didn't ask for.
You asked for stories and experiences... I don't even know where to start, although I do have knack for remembering completely random and unimportant details about such things (like what song was on the stereo when such and such happened, or what shoes I was wearing when this or that took place, or what the weather was like, etc.).

Well..
I went to 4 different high schools in 3 different states so my experiences may not be relevant.
Tried to fit in in all but the last. Senior year I didn't care if I had friends or not.
Senior year we moved from the west to New Jersey.
I had long hair (very big deal in '63) wore boots, talked funny (They thought I talked funny?) dressed funny, had a $25 Harley that actually ran on occasion. As an added bonus I listened to Chicago blues, and knew who Bob Dillon was.
Turned out every body thought I was the coolest kid in town.
Who knew all I had to do was be me.
Any way enjoy school, just be your self and let every body else stress over fitting in.

I went to a catholic High School, which is funny because I learned why I'm not Catholic and became more comfortable with my own beliefs, but thats not really relevant assuming you're going to public school.
One time at the beginning of freshmen year, this tough looking sophomore outside of art class got in a little battle of words outside in the hall way. In the end...he took my 18" ruler (yeah...no joke). I was pissed off the rest of the day though because i didn't want to put up with this. The next day this kid comes up to me and gives me money to buy a new ruler....
I just got out of high school and my only regret is not having fun for the first year and a half. Just hang out with people...even if you realize you don't like them think of it this way: free food. Thats the whole reason I went on a school sponsored Catholic retreat, I heard about the great food.... And the food was delicious and I got to talk to a bunch of kids I never talked to and ended up liking them.
I think my favorite high school experience is my band playing "Breed" at this mock award show. I used my Disaster Fuzz, freaked out, and trashed my guitar at the end. It was pretty shocking seeing as we were supposed to play "Born to be wild".

Avoid drugs. They are a waste of time.

Fuck crowds and fuck social politicking. Find people who are good people, be honest and loyal, and the rest will take care of itself. My crew had math/science nerds, techies, an opera singer, debaters, fantasy/sci-fi nerds, artists, actors... everyone was good people, nobody played games or messed with anyone else, and nothing was dependent on status. I have pretty much only good memories from high school.
Get involved in as many things as you can. Go hard, don't waste time - there's a lot to do, and you can actually do it all.
Dating and relationships are tricky, but the fundamental truths are as follows: be honest (with yourself as well as with others, pay attention to the other person (i.e. watch and learn them), don't play games or stay anywhere you don't want to be, and don't worry because you WILL get laid sooner or later.
Also: don't drink in high school. It will simply accustom your palate to low-quality alcohol, which will carry over in college and for the rest of your existence. You'll be happier if you start a bit later with better stuff.
Don't smoke in high school: cigarettes are retarded, and high school stoners are kind of pathetic. Don't do hard drugs in high school, but like you needed us to tell you that?

Wow, highschool. That was a long time ago, and I was a much different person. My story might be kind of a downer, but hey it's my story and you asked.
Well the short story is that I was really troubled, and it all came to a peak in high school. I attempted suicide at the end of my first week!

That was kind of the beginning of my high school story. After that I tried to be a good student for about a year. I wanted to make friends so I started to cut class, and try to be a "bad" kid. It worked, I made some friends. Got into too much trouble, started smoking and drinking and doing drugs. I got kicked out of two schools. Finally ended up going to a good alternative high school. I ended up eventually taking my GED. But I clean up with the drinking/smoking/drugs until right after I decided to stop going to school.
What I think about it all looking back is this:
Unless you are going to a really good private school, or you have good teaches at a public school (it happens), there isn't going to be a whole lot of good education until you get to college. It's good to do good in high school for your future, but just remember, there's more out there in terms of learning. It gets more fun in college (if you go to a good college).
High school to me is all about growing and learning socially. That is a two sided coin for a lot of people. It is a whole mixture of wonderful and horrible. And that mix is different for everyone. So my advice would be that when you are encountering other kids in high school that you think are assholes, or for whatever reason you don't understand them. Just remember there's much more to the situation than whats on the surface.
I think the most important thing, as others have said, is to be comfortable with who you are. Don't be afraid to talk about things you think other people will not understand. Try to have understanding for others, learn from people, grow from that. If you can do that you'll have a wonderful time.
And don't forget to rock....
