I was just given a Nashville Power Deluxe telecaster ( well minus the neck) it's needs some work for sure but it was free. It has an active pickup in the bridge (eww) as well as one of the fishman power bridges, first off I was wondering if someone could tell me what the power bridge is exactly. Next, the pickups, it has tex mex pickups and a tex mex strat pickup in the middle. I know with my LP there is a spring that suspends the pickup as well as holds in in position. Are teles the same? It currently doesnt have any springs, and when I took the bridge pup out I found some rubber hosing that looked like it could have been used to somewhat act as a spring but I just have no clue.

On Telecasters the rubber hose acts as the spring but you could also replace it with a real spring if you like.
The Powerbridge is basically a Piezo pickup like you would have on a acoustic guitar.
It sounds like it was setup for a lot of pickup options and my guess would be it has a complicated wiring scheme.

Yea, luckily all the wires are in tact (or appear to be) I am repairing the neck joint where it seems to have taken a bad neck break, then I will be able to throw a neck on there and try it out.
