OH. Maybe it muddies your signal up, like a delay at certain times? Or maybe it's goofy text just for a delay with a gain stage in front of it? IDFK.

I'm guessing it's the former. Sounds like a nice utility, it's a solid idea, but seriously can we just have McSpunkle do it or something?

So it is a delay, but a really short one. 65ms, that's like barely long enough for a slapback. So yeah, it seems to be about getting the tone of a delay, without the audible echo.

That's pretty much how I read it...sorta like a delay preamp pedal with a little extra thickening.

It seems like basically a "doubler" type effect, but all dirty like analog delay.

As if we needed something other than Fuzz and cheap tube amps to muck up our signal beyond recognition. Somehow I find the idea cool that this is a sort of Anti-Klon in that it makes your sound mucked up on purpose. Imagine this in a FB Loop: Like playing through a Dynachord Amp!

man, grab a cheap suprem (good old german stuff from LE
(Leinfelden-Echterdingen)) on ebay. there are so many cool amps around. i grabbed the tecsonic (love the name) bass amp for 80 EURs shipped.
