What is your favorite fuzz on your board RIGHT NOW? I'm asking, because it's getting close to time for me to build an all new pedal ensemble for the next few things I record. When evaluating, think of the tonal ground it covers(versatility).the weird factor-can it get glitchy, bizarre or just plain fucked up? In other words,I want deets as to why you chose the particular fuzz. GO!

As my board is in a transitional state, I currently own ZERO FUZZ PEDALS. But before perma-ban is initiated for ILF blasphemy, I have a Ghost Effects Dizzy Tone and Basic Audio Dirt Halo on the way. I chose them because they seem off the beaten path of typical fuzz, and it doesn't hurt to try new things. I guess I've tried a lot of things (noisy, Muffy, oscillating, velcro-y, Tonebender-y) and while I liked a lot of pedals I've already had, there are too many I want to try, so I don't mind moving things around. Change is good.

Ab Synth currently, I think I will be using my algal bloom a bit more though, but I don't get to play it until Christmas....the price you pay for not paying the price for the pedal < see what I did ther

WOLF COMPUTER!!! I currently own four. It can get anything from a low gain cleanish boost to a super thick massive fuzz. With the sag knob it can get extra trebly or super glitchy, and can get some awesome arppegiating eight-bit tones. One of my favorite simple boards I did for a while was Wolf Computer>memory toy. If I had to choose one pedal for the rest of my days it would be the wolf computer

The Team Awesome is my favorite because of its versatility. You can get the dark boost. You can get the fuzztoans. You can get the synthyfuzzytoans. In a feedback loop it does a weird tremolo thing. There's no loss of low end. And it looks cool.

I use a Mantra more, but that's more distortion.

For some reason I've actually been really loving my MXR classic fuzz lately. I've got the gain all the way up and volume rolled back quite a bit and it's going into my Vox with the mids semi-scooped. Makes for cool squelchy pseudo-synthy tones especially when I push it with my germy OD with a bit of power starve going. Simple stuff pushed to the max and stacked has been my strategy lately.

Mine doesn't do a weird tremolo thing in a feedback loop

. What else have you got in there?
TAFM is my favourite fuzz currently (also have an arc flash on the board) for the versatility and just how great it sounds. I also have a 4ms Atoner that's not working right now, I only got to use it for a day, and it was great and insane, so maybe I'd prefer that if I had more time to screw around with it.

I like using my glitch computer with the blend rolled back for fuzz doubled with the thundaa. The thundaa does most anything I want it to, and the glitch helps me get rawkus.

My main fuzz tone is a tone Reaper, it is very versitile and consistantly sounds good. I have never had a setting on it that sounded bad.

3Xfx Fatman V2. For bass, it has variety to good tones and has the photo eye/oscillation mode when you want sick sounds. For guitar, I second the Tone Reaper love.
