Worst cover I've heard...

Ok I was driving to meet my wife and mother-in-law for dinner and was listening to Sirius radios' Deep Cuts and came across Mountain covering Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones...
Maybe I'm missing something here, I mean the fuzzy bass is kinda cool, and I know it's Leslie West/Mountain but...

As a song, that Mountain track is pretty good. But as a cover, almost unrecognisable.

Certain things you just shouldn't do.
Like cover the Beatles. Unless you completely change the arrangement, it just doesn't work.
My vote is for Aerosmith, Come Together.
I have a hard time not driving my car into a tree when that comes on the radio.

as much as i hate Miley, at least she tried? i mean, she's into nirvana and radiohead so i don't despise her as much as i necessarily could. also, i respect the fact that 12 year old disney kids go see her and she plays Nirvana. those kids must be so fucking confused. it sucks as a cover, but props for having a half decent taste in music and having the balls to play it live

I love the guitar playing, but as a song, I just couldn't believe the brutality of it.
