The most intense noise piece I've ever heard is Atari Teenage Riot, "Live at Brixton Academy". Just twenty-something minutes of pure fucking angry harshness. That album now defines the noise genre for me. Changed my life.

Painkiller's live album with Mike Patton.

Let's start with this. Nowhere near as intense as hearing 'em live, but this'll have to do since they're no longer together.

All thus far good. ATR is awesome, as is Patton. Green Milk reminds me a ton of Earthless, but with sparse vocals. And, I love Zach Hill and Tera Melos, and This Will Destroy You.

Tera Melos did a recording at my friend Michael's house the other day, fucking crazy stuff. They're OBSESSED with The Simpsons, but extremely serious about it. Also, my friend got a board shot that hurt my head to look at.

heheh Sweet video. I went to a Brotzmann show a few months ago, 'twas fun.

Also, I always wished Laswell was not the bass guy in that band; mixed feelings about him.

If you can find Mass Projection by Abe and Takayanagi, that shit's intense.
