Any idea how to get this toan? (jets to brazil inside)

The distorted part, the chorus, what pedal would make a really clean amp sound like that? Or, what fuzz going into a JCM is that? I can't even tell. Guesses? Suggestions? Ideas?

Apologies, I just turned off Zen Arcade for this.
The guitar sounds like a JCM-clone with one of those el cheapo tone-volume-gain distortion boxes you find at guitar center for $30 on labour day.
Gotta run, or I'd hunt down a couple for you.

That sounds like tube amp distortion to me

And, yeah, I know Blake used a JCM 800, but it sounds kinda...thicker. There's a lot of moments on this album that are borderline fuzz, but just so massive that I can't even put my finger on it.

This has actually been bothering since I first read this...I've been searching for a few hours now and I can't seem to find anything. Why isn't there a giant repository of this kind of stuff on the internet????

I would think that with certain settings on my Fryette Deliverance 60 and the tone knob of my guitar I can pretty much nail that tone...

I've been told that Blake switched to a JCM900 in the Jets to Brazil days, so that could be the source of that distorted sound?
I'd guess any saturated-sounding distortion pedal could pull it off.
