I wonder if they will build a bass specific one??
I also wonder if SKB knows that bass players use pedals.
It seems pretty cool, I plan on doing something similar with the MS-2 I am getting from JFrey, the amp on board thing is pretty cool for practice and you could probably lay with your head on it to get some monitoring during a gig.

What a waste of time this product is.
What is their next project? A gas powered plastic guitar with a built in pedalboard?

Ehhhhhhhhhhhh...
Well, it would be cool to see a noise freak busking but otherwise wherever the pedalboard is, so is my not-tiny amp.
I dunno. I suppose it could be handy when...traveling or...something....staying at a frie--man, I dunno when I would use it.

i don't see much practicality for it.
Just buy one of those mini battery amps (either cheap ones, or Roland battery powered ones) that would make a hell of a lot more sense to me at least

yeah. it's kinda one of those "Filling A Need That Doesn't Exist" things. i forgot how much i hate SKB pedalboards themselves, so clunking a speaker on there wouldn't do much for me.
now, Jean The Baudin's setup interests me a little. he uses a pair of Phil Jones's powered bass amps with one or two Pedal Jeanie powered pedalboards. you limit yourself to running basically running off of a One Spot for the board, so you have to make sure it's all normal Boss style plug stuff and it's ok being on a chain, but he can get LOUD anywhere he wants for a few hours. pretty damn cool.

Do you have links to his setup, that sounds pretty sweet.
The other big issue with throwing everything on to a board like that is that when one thing breaks everything else becomes pretty useless.

hurm. i dunno... there's endorsement pics of him floating around and he posts his board on the TB Pedalboard thread occasionally... but i don't have anything of him with his amps and board. it's neat 'cause he's done kinda busking style or coffee house solo gigs where it's like "fuck your power. i gots mah OWN.".
the PJ's he uses are 10's i think? he runs a stereo setup on his board for more ping pongy or left right modulation stuff, so he puts an amp on each side for stereo. good stuff.

i find the fact that it has a line out for recording and everything else in one to be kinda convenient. i mean, if that speaker sounds half decent, you can probably get some nice pedal ownage since it powers them and all that fun stuff. probably not gonna buy one, but if i didn't have a practice amp it'd be kind of interesting.

FEEDBACKMOTHERFUCKER!
Does an extension out bypass the speaker?
But yeah, stupid.

yeah from what i've read, the extension out bypasses the built in speaker, and i think it pushes 4 ohm cabs

I still don't understand who they though would need this.
It just seems kind of... pointless to me.

I could see someone using it for busking. You could just throw it in a backpack. That being said, I'd never buy one.
