How clean are they when used as a pre amp? The tronographic demo seems a little dirty. Im thinking about picking one up to run through the m13 into a peavey classic 50
stereo tube poweramp.

You can run them fairly clean, or so I hear.

But when you've got Shellac-In-A-Box sitting on your pedalboard, why in god's name would you do that?

I want a clean slate to run fuzz into and I want the option of running that amp clean.

Plenty of clean with the gain knob below halfway. I use it as a clean slate with tons of clank, to run tons of fuzz into. Shit rules.

lol. that's funny, i was just setting up to do one on the Xero and my redid Holy Ballz It's Loud Oxide. i'll do one with different gain levels in a hinute.

yeppers. i have an Ampeg BA115 somewhere. do you want to hear it as an effects pedal too? or just as a preamp?

Anyone use this for guitar? Seen a couple bassists play with one live and it sounded great, I suspect the same would be true for guitar.
