PITBULL III Distortion (sickest gut work from Thailand)
Posted: Thu Oct 27, 2011 2:13 am
I just received this bad boy from Thailand (big mojoz sent to the flood victims!!!)
The Guts of the Pedal are beyond D*A*M standard seriously I have never seen something as crazy is this before. (2nd picture in the intro)
Its built like a tank and the original demo of Visarut Jet (the guy building those pedals) shows him hacking and hitting the guts with a screwdriver and not damaging the pedal at all. (most crazy stuff I have seen in a while…)
The Pitbull 3 is set up like a 2 channel Amp, left footswitch is activating the Pedal and the right footswitch toggles between the Upper row (red) of knobs and the bottom row (green)
of knobs…
Both channels are voiced different; I think you will get an idea when you listen closely to the clip.
To my ears one channel is a bit brighter and more aggressive while the other has a more boomey or mid heavy low end…
The overall sound of the pedal can easy catch up with the famous boutique pedals available while still sounding uniquely thick and whole its pretty damn hard to explain but the pedal sounds fantastic.
Unfortunately there is no homepage or URL with infos on how much the pedal is or how to order, I will suggest dropping an mail to the e-mail address shown in the end of the video when you are interested…
Enjoy the clip and be sure to check out 3 shootouts coming up over the weekend…
