power supply?

ok, so its about time now that I finally invest in a power supply for my pedals...its not really for the fuzzes, just all the mod/analog delays I have now. They just chew through batteries......I was really thinking about going with a 1 spot. HC reviews seem to be all over the place as far as "noise" goes. We have the BBE SupaCharger and the VooDoo Llabs Pedal Power 2 at my work as well...I noticed that they use 1Spots on all the pedals for display and haven't hear any noise problems with them..
Anyone using a 1 spot?

I am.
I have it plugged into an electrical system hand-wired by a 70 year old Italian guy in the late 1950's, so I tend to have horrible hum, and therefore I cannot comment on 1spot noise issues.
I can say there has been no catastrophic failures with it, so take that as you will.

I have one and have had no hum issues so far.
I usually plug it into a circuit that has a florescent desk lamp and a dimmer.
I’ve heard there are reliability issues, but have had no trouble with mine.

They seem so simple.....seems hard to mess it up. I guess since I have the means, I should actually try it out and make sure its a good one before I buy it.

I use a one-spot, and it's worked pretty well so far, I don't have any legitimate complaints about it, but I think I would prefer one of those voodoo-labs deals, simply for seeming like it has less tangled wires all over the place than I have with the one-spot when I use 1009043 pedals...

Between my ever changing pedal board & tangle of CV devices
pedal power 2+ has been really helpful. i have two of them.

usually the 1 spot is ok, but there seem to be a few pedals that it doesn't get along with, so i just use batteries or a seperate adapter. the website lists what is/isn't compatible, i think.

Why do you like dc bricks better (than pp2+)?

I use 1spots with no issues.
First of all check if your fuzz is picking up RF or any of the other pedals is to blame.
I'm aware of sucky daisy chains though. it's best if you have a series of daisy chains and u tape up those that empty jacks that are not used.
For eg u got 7 pedals and u have two MC5s, remember to tape up the spare 3.
I've had those parts sparking up when it comes into contact with any metal surface, namely, pedals. It made the whole rig power off and on again with a loud BOOF. thankfully, none of the pedals blew.
