Eric came over today and we had a little pedal gathering. Eric being the ss/bs guru of these parts brought over his custom 4545, behndy's sparkle motion, and Fuck OD. My guitarist Liv also has a TAFM that is totally rad as well. And I must say I'm very impressed with all of these fuzz beasts and now I'm super excited to receive my Fuck OD which was my favorite out of the bunch. The fuck mode really reminds me of the chaos mode on Devi's Soda Meiser circuit only without the crazy oscillation but with all the lo-fidelity.

Eric mentioned that a lot of people are scared to try the year 4545 and how they're not selling at fuzzhugger and what not. DON'T BE. STOP BEING LAME. It's awesome, especially with the clean blend mod, makes it super useable. Reminded me a lot of Silversun Pickups.

Sparkle Motion was pretty chill as well, but I definitely prefer the beefiness of the Fuck OD, much more up my alley. Kind of in the same way I prefer Devi's Electric Brown to her Karaoke Party.

Anywho, thought I'd share my excitement. I've been wanting to try some ss/bs for a very long time, and now that've played the majority of the line I'm really impressed. Very easy for a Devi-addict to get into, has all the attitude and appreciation for ugly but has it's own original direction. Can't wait for my Fuck OD to arrive!

To be fair, for igniting a ss/bs GAS, Chunkso' Pumpkinz ignited a TOOB GAS for me. Dammit.

I'm still shocked that people weren't like, banging at your door. Though I guess if they were. they'd be hard pressed to be louder than, for example, aenima>4545>xero>tbd (hm-2+ibanez phaser)>SDD>TRIFUZZ>muff'n

Love my tafm and sparkle motion, I really want to try a fuck and 4545, they're pretty high on my list of shit I need to check out.

I wish there were some ILFers who lived near me. Sadly all of my musician friends are mostly pedal illiterate.

I'm considering ordering a custom fuck/sparkle motion dual pedal from Brian, but I think I'm going to wait until the tourbox makes its way to me.

I had a chance to play with my very own Fuck tonight. After about a half hour of playing I figured out a good set of knob positions that interact with my other pedals really well. It was fun tweaking the fuck channel to make my Tri-Fuzz sound more broken but not completely cut out. Beautiful.
