I was wondering if you can help me with a project.

I want to make a power starve pedal. I decided to use a 9volt battery for the LED Light to avoid any conflict with power. I have a 3PDT Switch I was wondering is it possible to run the power in from the wall wart and into a 100k Pot and when switched off keep the full power from the wart?
Let me know if I am confussing. Any help or suggestion would be great.
I really would like to know what the wiring would look like.

But yeah, you just basically wire it like an audio bypass, except the only circuit in the pedal is the pot.
