I want to try one too but, the overwhelming notion seems to be that they are too dark-which has me pensive.

I like the demo of this too. Ended up getting an Octave Drone, cuz I use noisy fuzz more than modulation, but I keep an eye on BST for a couple of Seppuku's pedals.
Too bad the graphics are getting the ugly treatment on the new ones. The graphic on the older version, in the youtube video, is perfect for the pedal. The new graphics are very blah.

Hmmm, I wonder if they meant the vibrato/chorus itself is too dark. Because it has a blend knob, and if the effect doesn't do anything to the dry signal I would think you could achieve a happy medium with the wet signal.
But these things I do not know.

I had one and it muddied up my tone pretty badly so I got rid of it. The modulation itself is great though.

I love mine, it's definitely got a strong "flavor" to it's tone, it's certainly not subtle but if you want a cool shoegaze sound it's amazing.

I have been under suspicion mine was part of a bad batch. But honestly, if I had it now I'd probably love it. I had a more high end tone then but now I'm favoring the low end. If you don't mind taking a tonal risk, the modulation itself is pretty sexy.

Instead of starting another thread, what BBD chorus/vibratos are currently in production?

I know nothing about this pedal, but I enjoyed both of the demo vids. could be worth checking out...

Don't mean to thread-jack, but I'm torn between this and the Pitch Pirate.
Can a PP match that really lush swirl from the first riff on the Mind Warp's demo?
