They're the Fender equivalent of the Marshall MG, to my ears.

I played one, it actually sounded like cats screeching. I fucking mean it. I had to leave the room.

There's one of those in my practice space, because they're a cheap amp that says Fender so they can list there's a Fender, Marshall and Peavy available. That's the only reason I can think of why you would buy one of those.

To be fair, the reverb on those is seriously awesome.
