http://smallbox.zeonhost.com/projects/fface/The Q1 transistor goes under the 100k resistor, so would i have to jumper the point or is it okay for it to cross.

you definetly dont want those to cross. You will have ot make some kind of bridge out of wire or something. Probably not spaghetti.

just move the resistor over enough to where the wire runs middle of the resistor and then theres no worries of them crossing as you will have on or two holes on each side to separate if your using perfboard.
