Holy Mother Of Fuzz… The Toneczar - Vault has landed…

I just received the almighty new fuzz pedal from Toneczar and finished a couple o testrides with this monster.
I guess 400 bucks for a fuzz might seem to be way over the top for most guys but it’s a new design from scratch and Ed worked on this bad boy for several years!
The Vault is a monster of a fuzz pedal it reminds me of many High Gain Pedals alike the Dominator or Openhaus while still remaining a Fuzz.
It has a massive amount of output volume and even more gain on tap while staying crystal clean and transparent even on complex chords…
(Mode F1) Think Openhaus crossed with a Skreddy Big Muff alike the CogDis MKII when the Vault is set to regular Fuzz…
(Mode F2) Adds a harmony and reminds me a bit of the Swedish sound on the HM-2 but with tons of more options, balls and precision.
(Mode XF) Adds an octave up which gets very nasty on rhythm and beautiful creepy on the higher notes above the 12th fret…
(Deep) haven’t gooved around a lot with the deep toggle since its designed to work with closed back cabs and my artisan has an open back but since the vault will get a place on my live and rehearsal board I should be able to tell something about the deep toggle soon…
As a sidenote the Vault works super nice with a filter in front and Prometheus DLX into Vault is one of my new favourite combos. Watch out for a dedicated Prometheus DLX / Vault Demos that should be finished around the weekend…
Here we go with some youtube demo action
