The one on the finger changes between two transistors one is low HFE (think less gain less clipping) and the other has a huge HFE (think tons of fuzz)

phase switch inverts the filter control. That is kinda lot a FAC control for both input and output so you can dial in how much low end is coming into and out of the device. If phase one way, both input and ouput low increase with clockwise rotation of control, if phase other way input will increase low and ouput will decrease low with increasing rotation and vice verse for decrease rotation (FYI thats a 6 pos rotary hence the FAC OFF name)

usual true bypass, hand wired crap However I do have full size mil-spec pots in their, nice jacks, production pcbs, not bullshit

you gotta get clips up asap! I'd love to hear it, and with the rotary knob it makes me think you and Mark have been conspiring together! and thats not a bad thing!

lol

Actually i emailed mark about that, expressing that 5 mins after I thought up this thing, I was like fUCCCKKK, this is kinda like a BF. I dont want to trample on his market or his pedals. I have a lot of respect for Mark so that would be a major asshole move. I do not plan on selling many of these. I do amps for the most part and not pedal.

To me the only thing's they have in common are the rotary switch, your's is a fuzz face circuit his is a color sound overdriver base, 2 very different pedals so i don't think your trampling on his business as long as you dont steal his little tonestack tricks.

Nah no stealing. I ask Mark a lot of advice on many pedal things, he may not admit it but he has a gift for good pedals. this whole build started as a request from a friend of a friend.

Looks intriguing Nick.

And you're right on regarding Mark. A very humble dude with a great ear and the skill to bust out pedals to match the tones in his head (and in his extensive Doom collection!). Hard to comprehend the fact that he's "not really a pedal guy." If that's how it works, I wish more guys who aren't into pedals would dedicate more time to making them. :idk:

I hear he dips all his components in a mystery concoction referred to only as "Doom Juice". Trade secret, revealed.

Soon, dont know if i will get a full miced setup tho. Do my best to let u know

Its like med/heavy fuzz to balls to wall fuzz depending upon transistor Q1 or Q2 (you can select) and Filter choice
