Things you don't quite understand.

Figured there wasn't a thread for this in Gear, so let's get this motherfucker rolling. Just post whatever you don't...get. If that makes sense.

I tend to like the tone knobs on all my pedals to be far treble, but I like the one on my RAT to be nearly all bass, because the feedback is more easily controlled (note, not as in lacking feedback, just easily manipulated).

Pretty sure my delay pedals react differently in different rooms. Sometimes, perfect. Sometimes, wildly different. No different knob settings.

Your turn, folks!

I keep my pedal tone in line with any and all of my amps natural sound. For X-treme FX, I don't bother.

Most instruments come with a bunch of pickups, vol and tone knobs. I hate it. I just want one pickup, one vol, and one tone. I don't need a bunch of shit on my guitar to manipulate my sound from "lead" to "rhythm."

Clearly I'm alone in feeling this, though

Nope. I have pickup->output jack

why are there 5000 models of Stratocaster that basically sound like 3 models of Stratocaster?

why doesn't anybody make a decent semi-hollow double-cut bass any more that doesn't cost $4000?

how the hell do they make such startlingly decent acoustic guitars in China and sell them here for, like $120-200? do they have slave elves or something?

and why doesn't any major manufacturer make a decent, affordable all-tube bass head, when they've ALL got a Marshall-head guitar clone?

why don't more people play hollow and semi-hollow guitars? especially in noisier music? you'd think feedback would be a GOOD thing there, no?

Even no age doesn't get too noisy live.

They're a little too similar to grandpas guitars!

Peavey VB-twooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Ya gotta go on either personal experience or blind faith. There's not even a single half-decent demo of it. I got mine for $550 + shipping, though I just saw one go for 510 and shipping.

I miss my Artcore. The 34" sale one with one humbucker. It rocked and was cheap

All good things! My go to guitar is a semi hollow with p90s.

I couldn't get my pedal to oscilate tonight when we were recording. When everyone left, I came back in and there was oscilation.
