The Expressionator. a friend was annoyed with carrying around 19 expression pedals for his board so he's been working with a builder, and they did something i've been wanting for a WHILE. this bad boy is just SILLY fun. it's getting close to being released, test versions are going out to some people this week, but i had some hands on with a prototype build a week or so ago. works GREAT!
one expression pedal in, 3 outs.
you can have Out 01, 02, and 03 on in any combination.
the Taper section lets you choose from 5 different throw values when you go heel to toe on the expression pedal - Raw, Inverse, Anti-Log, Saw, Square.
Raw matches your expression pedal.
Anti-Log helps with expression pedals that have volume pots instead of Linear Pots.
it remembers where Out 01 is set when you move to Out 02 if you want to leave 01 at a certain point and move 02 instead of both at the same time.
if you hold down Set for 5 seconds you can set a range selection, so heel to toe could be 0-100 or 20-80 or 45-46.
different colored lights for each input for easy visual identification.
woof. i am EXCITE.
for more info you can pm me or Jean Baudin (ElevenStrings on ILF). i'm not connected to these guys in a business sense. i just jock what they're doing.
yay!

pm sendin's.
oh yeah, here's a more concise summation from Jean & Them....
This is the rough text for the site
Features:
- 3 TRS channels for expression capable pedals
- 1 TRS input for expression pedal (Moog EP-2, Roland EP-5, etc.)
- Visual meter for identifying treadle position, color-coded per channel
- 5 selectable taper presets (raw, inverse, anti-log, saw & square), configurable per channel
- Stomp switch for cycling between channels. Treadle position retained when switching channels
- ON button for keeping channel active. One to three channels can be active simultaneously
- Heel and toe span can be set independently per channel
- Internal memory retains span and taper settings after power down
- CNC drilled with lasered graphics
- Internal switch for 0 to +5 CV control
and i think they're looking at $199 + shipping right now. i know they wanted to keep it cheaper, but parts and R & D do add up.
though, honestly, just carrying one exp ped instead of three is worth it to me. add in all the weird shit you can do with it? salty, vegi bacon GRAVY.

It looks as

as the features are! I stayed away from expression pedals because I didn't want to end up with a separate board for all of them, but this solves that, partly, deluxe version with 5-10 outputs? You know you want one.

lulzrcoaster! funny you should mention that gentle suh!
if they move enough of these then there IS talks of a Deluxe Version! not only will it have more outs (i think 5 is what they're thinking on?), but it will do some fun LFO stuff.
meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeOW.
"did you just.... lick my Lynch?"

Bukowski is scaring me a little. it's all cute and everything until you start to wonder what "Friends" entails. dirty little one-armed mans.
dahMCmahon - do you mean random jumps on the pedal sweep? the square and saw get like that sometimes, since they're going 0-100 so quick. i'm REALLY looking forward to getting mine in to see what it opens up with pedals i've been hesitant to fall in love with the expression side of. like, my Frantabit does some NASTY things when it's got an exp ped plugged into it, but so does my Xerograph. and i'm REALLY looking forward to the exp ped modded 2nd Voice i have coming in. now i don't have to worry about carrying nine loaded asses worth of up down levering footrests. yay!

I guess I was thinking of something like the random setting on the Copilot Broadcast.
