Large 3pdt pushbutton footswitch - need source

I am building a pedal for a customer who has some physical disabilities. He uses his hands to quickly switch on pedals while he plays the guitar in his lap. The "regular" 3pdt footswitches most of use might be a little too hard for him to depress quickly and accurately by hand.
Does anyone know of a pushbutton-type switch that it 3pdt? I quickly searched in Mammoth and Small Bear and couldn't find one...

I don't know the exact nature of his needs, but perhaps if he's using his hands a toggle would work?

I think a toggle would be better if he's using his hands. Atleast in my opinion

or get whatever switch he likes and use it to trigger a relay.

Also, "millennium bypass" is super easy if you can find something in DPDT.

Yes, I was going to suggest a relay-based switching system with a momentary switch.

A big toggle might actually be the best option for him! Nice!
I'll run it by my buddy and see what's up. Thanks gents!

thats a sweet bypass pcb but I think it might sell way more if they had bulk pricing and bulk packaging.

You got it. I'd consistently use those for certain builds if they would go down in price as I got more.

how much would you pay? this idea could be copied very very easily. the relay costs about 2.50 and a comparable pic (509 is obsolete iirc) is about 1.50 (based on pic12f683, last of the 8 pinners). you would have to make a shitload of pcbs due to their size but overall they would be say a buck a piece or less. The 2 t0-92s are most likely a 5v regulator for the pic and a npn to drive the relay coil. and even if that's not what it is, the setup would work just as well. so maybe in bulk you could go to around 7 a piece all said and done?
Im not even sure why you need a pic other than at the end of the day it is all in an 8 pin dip, where as a "simpler" solution might actually take up more space on the board.
edit: actually the 509 is still available so it might be cheaper.

well that actually makes me feel better about the price if the cost is like $7 to make it. I was looking at the small pcb thinking its like $3 per assembled pcb if you do it all in china. you probably CAN do it for $3 in china if you make a big enough order. if you think about the price of a 3pdt footswitch now its $3 and it was $7 each 5 years ago. every pedal has one. most of the cost in anything is shipping, warehousing, profit margin, assembly. the parts that go into the board and the raw sheets of fiberglass are seriously like pennies to the people who own them. a manufacturing house in china gets the parts cheaper than we could ever get them even if the manufacturing house doesn't make all the parts. usually these factories are within walking distance. need transistors? send a guy with a backpack across the street. how cheap is that for shipping?

well if you were making 1000 of these the price might actually be much closer to your initial guess than mine, even in the states or wherever you may be. i was just looking on future because i know that distributor has panasonic and microchip, and at low quantity pricing. There may also be cheaper relays that would work just as well, although panasonic makes pretty solid stuff in that department, which you would probably want so you can impress people by telling them how many lifetimes of a guitar playing it will take to have a failure.
also i would add a function so that you can do momentary hold engagements. like if you hold the button for a few seconds, it doesn't just turn it on, it turns it on and then off when you release. or momentary off, why not. you could have a jumper on the board to disable it if you just want the classic jack d.

if you can make it take a ON-OFF-ON switch then I dont have to use sloppy plastic sliders like on the behringer pedals. the UV300 for example has latch, momentary on, momentary off. I feel like they beat us on features.
