I think I've made this thread already, but I can't remember...
Seems like it cuts the bass and adds a bit of treble, yeah?

I've been thinking about this lately, and for some settings it definitely seems like the case. But it sounds like it more just boosts the treble, while keeping the bass the same on those settings. There are lots of good bass friendly settings though. Overall it's not the bassiest, and in conjunction with the sag knob you can really boost the treble and high mids easy. But with the sag knob you can also make it an 8bit bass synth pretty easy too. Bottom line there's a lot of magic in the sag knob.

With the sag lower for 8-bit fuzz it definetely seems trebly, when i'm using mine with the sag rolled down I tend to steer clear of playing linear notes, it nearly hurts my ears

It definitely cuts some bass, but not so much that it becomes unusable. I think Mudfuzz has a super special bass version.

Here was his first WC review - can't remember if this was his bass-modded version or not:

It was/is. And even it gets really trebly if you crank everything, don't really lose bass but it boosts treble when you crank it, still it keeps it's place on my board.

I tend to keep the scratch and squelch back on mine, around 3/4's, and then starve to taste. All the other noises it makes+three 15's makes up for any "loss" I might be experiencing otherwise

Never noticed any low end loss on the mini WC my friend had when I dicked around with it, but that may be due to the massive amp I use, much like Jero said. Shit, now that I think about it, I've never noticed low end loss except for on a few DE fuzzes.
