Help me pick an OD

So I'm looking for an OD pedal for an all around, on almost all the time rock and roll machine.
I've got a Pharaoh, which is awesome, but I'm more of a drive guy than a fuzz guy for my main tone.
There's a softspot in my heart for things that get really noisy at times too so the smallsound/bigsound fuck overdrive seems to be the goto drive pedal around here, but is it too similar to a fuzz if that's not always my thing? how are the medium gain tones?
And Aardvarks?
The Internet?
Advice is appreciated

I love the Fuck for med to high gain, sounds incredible with plenty of transparency and a dynamic feel. It shines with the low gain too but I find myself cranking it more often than not or using it to boost whatever fuzz I've got going. Stacks incredibly well and the momentary switch for Fuck'd tones is awesome.
The Monarch is a good choice for low or high gain, sounds very unique with bass and treble boost eq as opposed to cut. More of a loose, nasty OD/distortion as opposed to tight and focused. All the controls are super interactive and it stacks/boost great as well. Packs plenty of gain for the brootz but I love the cleanish, crunchy tones it produces along with using it pre/post fuzz to boost the shit out of everything.
I hear the Singing Tree is top notch for lower gain, on all-the-time style OD. I want one after reading another recent OD thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=149&t=20080The And Aardvarks! is another good lower gain/clean boost type OD. I liked it better on bass personally but the clean boost was pretty awesome regardless of instrument.
Dr. Scientist Elements will go anywhere from low to med to SUPER HIGH gain. Also contains a 3 band EQ to dial it in with different amp pedal setups and all the functionality of the original Cleanness boost, amazing pedal.

And Aarvarks is awesome! Just got it in the tourbox and will own one soon myself.
Wilson Effects lotus drive is a great OD has clipping options and can get clean or pretty dirty

Regarding your question about the fuck, it is definately an overdrive and not a fuzz. It's no tube screamer but it's not fuzz. That's not to sayit doesn't do clean. It does clean better than anything else I've ever heard personally. It's major always-on material.

So I got a chance to play the Fuck yesterday and HOLY SHIT does that pedal sound good. I didn't play enough with the burst switch to really dial in what I wanted out of that, but the regular drive tones are just SOOOO good.
For reference, I also tried out: The Internet and Interstellar Overdriver Deluxe and as far as pure, unadulterated sonic bliss goes, the Fuck is really hard to beat.
The only problem now is buying one, just a little pricey for me at the moment. And everyone is way too happy with them to sell them used right? :/

They certainly haven't been showing up in b/s/t in great numbers...

I just got a Lovetone Superlead and I loves it. The mids switch is a plus. And it goes from clean boost to medium gain distortion.
My old orchestra director's favorite OD was the Visual Sound Open Road. Then he got an OCD and liked it even more so he bought a second.

I'd go with the Fuck, save a little longer and spend a lot less money in the long run trying to find something like it. It utterly ruined any gain GAS I was having, and the only other pedal I'm feeling the need to add my crunch arsenal is another Smallsound/Bigsound. I honestly could not be happier with the thing.

The And Aardvarks is excellent, I can't vouch for any of the others mentioned, but if I were to take a dive I'd go for the Fuck.
As for me, I bought an English Muff'n and haven't looked back since.

I should also say that the fuck into pharaoh is great. If you set the fuck for lower gain and hit the crackle switch... It totally destroys your fuzz sound into the most awesome broken/blown speaker sorta way.
