gated, splatty fuzz?

I had a Fuzz Factory, and I never really bonded with it, so any other pedals good at a gated, splatty type of fuzz?

Devi has a bunch of good ones. Soda Meiser can be really splatty or real creamy. It's gated, but not overly gated. The Devi US or GZ can do the splat and are gated. The GZ is not for the treble minded.

Ima hafta send you some recordings of this sound I found I could do with my Torns Peaker. The Torns Peaker is anything but gated but I think you'll dig this sound.

My Fuzz Factory has always shelled out the splatty, gated goods but I dunno. I'm drawin a blank right now all I can think of are Zvex pedals.

I definitely agree with the Soda Meiser or GZ for a low end friendly splatty fuzz. If you want more of a treble splatty I'd take a look at Devi's Neverdrive.

If devi isn't your bag, almost every Fuzzhugger pedal I've played has had a splatty sound somewhere locked inside (or very apparent in some cases). Also the Mid-fi Psyche Bike and Peace Gun fuzzes come to mind.

How could I forget the FuzzHugger Ab-Synth! It does so many things. Splatty with or without gate, Smooth leathery fuzz, or oscillation. Now I'm sad because I just sold mine.

Not so much low end, but I always found that my fuzz factory was either way too trebly or lost in the mix.

I'll check out fuzzhugger stuff, and I don't have anything against devi's pedals, so I'll check that out. All of my fuzzes are pretty much muff variations so I want some kinda cool gated fuzz type thing for riffs

Wolf Computer might be a nice one to throw in the ring too.
