I never found out if Wata is the one doing the solos or if it's Michio Kurihara, but I suspect the latter. If it's him...I have no idea, he has like a million pedals across multiple boards.

That's 100% Michio right there. The man is a wizard of nasty.

The solo on Starship Narrator is INSANE. One of my favorite moments in music. His stuff in The Stars and White Heaven is also really good...

I love that song!
AS Carrot said Michio played it when I saw them. I never got a good look at his board but it was the biggest of the three, sounds like a octave fuzz to me.

Boris plays a LOT of different types of music - particularly so since Kurihara started playing with them. Good luck delving into them!

yah. i'm liking the more mellow stuff. i don't really dig on straight up rokk stuff, and they have some really cool tones (Wata is pure SEX), but i don't dig the more chest thumpy FUCK YEAH type bits. more space makes what they do more enjoyable to me.

woof. yeah. that's..... um..... some good stuff. i'm annoyed that my wife doesn't know how to play any instruments. we were going to take some her on violin me on cello lessons together before she started to spend loads of time outside the country. nihonjing always come up with interesting takes on music.
Flood is pretty epic, i like this a lot too.........
