Hey so I was planning to make the Payback looper a couple years back http://tech.thetonegod.com/payback/payback.html
I bought 3 of these IC's but never got it off the ground...
They're 40 second chips which was the highest length that works in that layout to my understanding
If somebody wants them they can have them but you gotta make me a payback, I'll pay you and everything!
I think these chips were like 50 bucks each when I foolishly bought them

well that IC can be had directly from china for $8 or less. they have ISD2532, ISD2540, ISD2548, ISD2564. you can probably use a ISD2564 for not a lot of money and it would drop right in on the same pinout. your not gonna get your money back on those IC's. I dont know if they were that expensive a year ago but you wont find someone on here that wants to spend more money than they need to.

Not really sure how anyone but the OP would lose money. He said you can have the ic's and he'll pay you for the payback. Sounds like a good deal, for anyone wanting to make loopers, to me.

oh I get it now, payback is the name of a pedal

so he wants someone to build it and he will buy it? that sounds like a fair deal.

And he did say he 'Foolishly Bought them' So maybe he realised he's overpaid for them.

I'd be up for this if I didn't hate boxing builds so much... sounds cool to me, if you wanna sell me a chip I might be interested though...

good luck with the PCB layout and etching. soooooo much time in that to build just one.

I built an Attack Decay, I can build this

There are PCB & Vero layouts already available, however I would design my own PCB as it'd be to suit my build tastes, it'd only take an evening, etching, probably just pay someone else to do it.

Nah it can't but I wanted to do the Payback cause it has that vibrato thing the lo fi loop junky people like so much

I just wanted to see if anybody wanted 3 for free, and I'd pay you to make me a pedal, so you keep two for yourself after on top.
No other tricks or anything like that.

Apparently the newer chips don't work with the layout even though they share similar pinout according to the guy who makes the pedals, that's why the builds kind of been abandoned by that guy the Tone God.
Anyway I'd post it out for free just interested in not having stuff laying around
