ILF! It's a big place and it moves fast sometimes! You must be busy doing stuff NOT on the internet. Hahahaha.

isn't an offset thread on ILF a bit redundant?

yeah we're all about Minariks and private stock PRS
(for the record i like a lot of PRSes but almost everything from private stock is worth a bullet in a head)

Building pedals has been where most of my time has been lately. I've been neglecting my ILF posse.

An offset thread is NEVER redundant.

It's unfortunately Bigsby-less at the moment. I'll be fixing that soon though.

It's solid, but isn't on par with the Classic Players. The trem is a bit stiff, and the humbucker is very bland.
Also, the bridge is trash unless you locktite the screws. Mine performed great at first, but after a few months the screws started slipping and it was a total hassle.
I got mine for $400 shipped. If your friend can get it at that price, I say it's worth it. It plays great, and is overall good. It does have its quirks though, and a Classic Player will feel more quality. If he's looking at a price closer to the $500-$550 I've seen them for, have him spend a bit more on a Classic Player.
I use 11's on all my guitars. It was fine with the stock 10's - I just hate lighter strings.
