It's a tough order, Compy! There just isn't many SDDs out there... 300ish I think... and we haven't made one for a long time, none of the video making stores like Prymaxe, Jet City Music, or ProGuitarShop have ever received one.

So you'll just have to take my word on it that they sound totally awesome. Think of the best delay sound you've ever heard or ever even imagined... it sounds incredible, right? Well, it sounds like crap compared to the SDD.

You may have gone over this before and I just missed it, Ryan, but why aren't you making more? Hard-to-get delay chips? Pain in the butt to build? Severe pizza shortage requiring build rationing? Inquiring minds want to know!

What's the max delay time on these bad boys? Thinking about replacing my Skreddy Echo with one, but it depends on if it can delay at longer increments than the Echo...

I think I can handle this one, Ryan, if you don't mind:

Ryan isn't making them anymore for one simple reason.

TO. PISS. ME. OFF.

SDDs can do about 500msec but the repeats are pretty grainy/noisy at the max setting. I think in a cool way but not everybody would agree.

We're not making them any more just because we're trying to stream line and maximize our production and sort of cherry picking the pedals we make now. Mainly because we just can't get every pedal into production at once, so we have to choose who gets made first.

When it comes time to get a delay back into production I'm not sure if I want to do a PT2399 based delay anymore.. I think I want to move to something different, a new challenge and adventure!

I don't think the max delay settings sound grainey at all. It would be interesting to see what you new you can come up. What I wanna know is what are you gonna work on
next? New delay, reverberator, or chorus?
