Good friend and fellow ILF member Fuzz_Pi informed me that Fairfield Circuitry was redesigning the amazing ring mod to suit the average joes price range. Needless to say, I've been gassing pretty hard for this thing

Ring Modulator

Word on the street is that Randy's Revenge is among the best ring modulators on the block. Makes you wonder why it's discontinued.

The reasons are many, some of which relate to fabrication, others to serviceability and others to price point.

The good news is that a redesign is under way which will address these issues. The look, feel and sound of the pedal won't change, that'll remain as brown as we meant it to be.

Aiming to relaunch late 2011.

i sprung for one about two years ago and i love it! when fat tone gets the new ones i might bring in the old one just to compare...

this is one of the few boxes i still want. and the only pretty-sounding ring modulator i've ever heard.

holy crap I'm very excited. Ring mod is basically the last thing I need for my current noise set up right now.

You have to click on youtube (at the top of the message box) then you insert the url of the webpage.

man. so, i KINDA wanted one. but then that first youtoober clip....... dayum. puttin' some monies AWAY. that LFO is freaking GREAT.

any1 got any Idea how much this redesigned thing could cost? The original was alittle too much if you axe me ....
