also Harpies is kinda being a bit of a drama llama himself by bringing mostly irrelevant shit into this thread just to defame devi. besides "no one should ever get involved with devi" howbout Ken? you honestly really are cherrypicking information, and for someone who is apparently 33, you're using VERY juvenile tactics, sparky.
if you've still got a pinecone in your cooch about Ken not getting the real credit for the silver rose, i'm p sure that was answered quire succiently in the thread by good ol' kenny boy himself if i recall.
any other "mature" yet relevant factoids you've got against devi that you're trying to link to this drama?
That original quote was a joke, but still very accurate.
It really isn't irrelevant to bring in Devi's history, especially her recent history, because this is a consistent and recurring pattern of behavior for her. Perhaps you aren't aware of it all, idk. My interest is not in defaming her. She does a good enough job of that on her own, but then she has these unquestioning supporters who try to attack everyone else who say anything remotely critical of her behavior or her pedals. I wouldn't have a beef with Devi had she not pulled some stunts on here and HM that made me think she just can't behave like a reasonable person.
If anything, I'd just like to her stick to her own forum for all the drama, after all, that is part of the reason that she left here, to remove herself from drama and focus on her business. In fact, I know some builders here didn't want to be associated with her, and I think this place thrived when she was gone. She was removed from HC and HM several times, took herself off of here for a while, all over her antics. I don't go to her forum to troll her, but if she is going to do stupid stuff here, then she deserves to be called out for it.
Ken is free to do what he wants, but I can still be concerned since I think he is a really good builder and Devi isn't. My opinion, of course. I have no real opinion on how she operates her business, but it is hard to sympathize with someone claiming they have no money to give a refund on a pedal then a week later saying they are turning a hefty profit. Or, the Billy thing, where she wants all the support but doesn't give a valid underlying explanation for why it went down how it did.
Feel free to give me some specifics about how I'm being juvenile, b/c I guess I'm missing something. If anything, I guess it is juvenile to even really care one bit about this whole thing, other than to laugh it off, but it is irksome to see people blinding following someone without evaluating all the facts.
Oh, just to be clear, my beef with Devi has nothing to do with her being trans, in fact, I'm very supportive, although I often feel she is not as down with the gays.
