Any love for Robert Quine on ILF?

Okay, so I'm too lazy to dig through old posts. Anyone ever mention Robert Quine (Richard Hell and the Voidoids, Lou Reed) here on ILF? Bad ass guitarist and owner of tons of fuzzboxes, from what I understand...I read about his fuzz love on the excellent website put together by Steve Caratzas, who I think I've seen post here before.

If all you've heard of his work is only on Matthew Sweet records you should do yourself a favor and
check out the many other albums that have had the pleasure of featuring his excellent guitar work!

Blank Generation is one of my favorite albums ever. His guitar work on there is magnificent. Does he play on anything by Lou Reed other than The Blue Mask?

Fun fact: Robert Quine is the nephew (or something along those lines) of influential analytical philosopher Willard Van Orman Quine, who was also pretty cool.

Edit: nevermind about Lou Reed, Google has the answer

Hey, I noticed someone uploaded in full on YouTube the two albums that Quine did that kind of approched solo albums (duo albums if you will?). One was Escape (with Jody Harris) and the other was Basic with Fred Maher (who also was on some of the Quine-era Lou Reed albums). These are way out of print. In both cases it's kind of ambient, experimental stuff. Really cool even if a bit light on the fuzz...no Blue Mask-type noise but lots of loops and slapback.

Another Fun Fact: Robert Quine was the first or second cousin to Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys. Dans middle name is Quine

It seems like he would play with anyone. There's a local musician I know that worked with him toward the end.
He was always in the background, overshadowed by whoever he was with, but totally genius.

So clearly there was no talent left by the time Dan Dan the Dancing Dan came around...;)
