Sea Machine Effect Question

So I am looking to get a very UFO/Ghost-like sound to come out of my lovely guitar and am wondering if the Sea Machine has the ability to get me this sound:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nD0zCQHoWzI It comes in around the 1:00 mark and so on. Anyone think the Sea Machine can help me reach that level of wet/odd chorus?
NOTE: I am aware id need to combo the Sea Machine with another pedal, Im just not sure what else Jesse uses.

Easily. I think if you just use a bit of overdrive before it you could get it.
Also, I forgot how annoying Brand New fans can be.

You could certainly nail it with the sea machine...plenty of ufo/ghosty stuff to be had in that box

Do you think he is using reverb and tremolo/vibrato as well?
And i go out of my way toavoid acting like typical Brand New fans, they piss me off. I liked their last two albums and the the other I liked when I was in high school being annoying. I like to think Im subtle about loving Brand New, atleast in person.lol

With the Sea Machine you wouldn't need a trem or vibrato, it can make that sound on it's own. He could be using some reverb, but it doesn't sound doused i it.

The sea machine sorta has a vibrato/reverb thing going on.
I mean you may want more/weirder, but I'm usually pretty happy with the sounds that come out of the stand alone sea machine+some dirt...no need to really stack mod/time effects to make weird stuff happen.

Yeah I plan on just toying with the Sea Machine by itself, then dabble with some delay and reverb and see what happens. But it sounds like the Sea Machine is alot better than I had thought, this is good news.

When I get mine I could make a demo for you if you want me to try and find a specific sound, like the one in that video.

Anything specific you want me to try and get?
I may not get the pedal until next friday, but that's not too far.
