Awesome!
If you need help, shipping from/to Austria to/from Germany isn't that expensive :D
I'm really excited to see pictures!

I've really wanted to visit Germany for the past few years, beautiful country. Nothing against Austria, just don't know as much about Austria. If shipping wasn't so expensive I'd propose a trade for some Eisenacher Brauerei stuff.

I remember you were asking about the vintage fuzz face pots. I just picked up a bourns pot with the fat brass threaded section to fill the huge hole in vintage pedals. $2.50 isn't bad at all for that kind of thing.

I got a CTS and an Alpha, both metal shaft. I'm excited to have it up and running again. For me its a piece of test equipment. A kind of fuzz yard stick. Its important to have stuff like that if you our doing design work. I've hear stories of Manufactures making reissues of products without ever seeing the real thing.

Here's yer proof. The Story goes as follows.
I found and old box of pedals in my shop with at least ten years of dust on in. Inside the box was two MXR analog delays, a Maestro Fuzz-Tone FZ-1S, a Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face and some other stuff I can't remember. I'm sure your thinking by now sweet lord pedal gold mine! Yes but this is a repair shop and that box had been there since the 1980's. So they were all in the worst shape possible. The Fuzz Face actually had a Jordan Bosstone inside it. I did end up fixing all the pedals in the box, most of which I sold. The whole experience is part of what got me interested in pedals again.

I resenting found the transistors that belong in a Fuzz Face in another place in the shop. So I'm hoping to restore it as close to original as possible. I'm still waiting on my Pigeon FX kit.

It's here! Not all the holes are drilled out for some reason. No big deal I have the right bits for that. Hopefully I'll it together next week.

It's finally done. I had a free moment last week and finished the restore of my Dallas Arbiter. This is the as close to bone stock as I could make this fuzz. I'm pretty sure the transistors, knobs and case are the only original parts.

Did you have issues with the holes for pot shafts being way bigger than alpha rv24? I just use 24mm cts pots on vintage gear.

No, I ordered the Alpha with a 3/8" bushing; so both pots fit perfect.
