It has to be this one:

Take your pick. ^Drummer looks hotter.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il5cHpsN1N8
^A lot more effects noise oriented. Also more of a jam.

Elephants- by Warpaint

4 chicks.
2 offset guitars.
HOT (and pretty damn great) drummer.
1 effects laden guitarist who "plays" her pedalboard.
A noise jam winding up the performance

Except they are kinda boring (especially their older stuff. This was WAY BETTER). And they seem not so smart in interviews. And if I see one more piece on them that mentions that one of them used to be a model and they partied with famous people in LA before they had a band - IM GONNA PUKE.

ETA: Perhaps what bothers me the most is that they are just OK, and the media response to them is so focused on them as women and not musicians. They accentuate the fact that one used to be a model and make them come across as kinda ditzy. We get it. They're hot and they play in a band.

Yes, they are well known around here (both liked and disliked.)
I enjoy their music, but I have to say, I'm really tired of seeing, "Oh man, this band is hot chicks. :boner:"

Exactly.

With this new stuff, they really seem to have come into their own. This shows their musical ability so much more than anything I have heard previously.

From a female's perspective, it sucks to be critiqued constantly on how you look, versus your musical talent.

This is the video that made me hate warpaint. It was the first thing I ever heard/saw

This is the same song? WFT? I wish when they made "real" music videos they played the real music.

It turns out they are a real band?!?! Refreshing to hear it, but I wonder what asshole made them wuss-out the recording and video?
Probably a rich guy who wanted to get more rich off these womens boobies and guitars.

Word.

The song that was live that Aen posted was pretty good, but the one on Jools Holland was meh at best. If you want to be taken seriously as a band don't go "OMG LOOK AT US WE ARE GIRLS WITH GUITARS AND BOOBS"

But then again, I'm a chauvinistic pig

Their drummer and bassist are damn solid in that live video.

I was expecting more Muse/Tool/Rage/Sonic Youth/Autolux/Minus The Bear/El Ten Eleven content when I opened this bastard.

Haven't listened to warpaint. Don't have decent speakers at the moment. Anyone hit me with a genre/similar style?

Not enough fuzz.

I just get excited when I see guitarists crouching down and making noises with pedals.

The girl playing the mustang made me go out and buy a chorus. I wouldn't kick any of them out if they ate cookies in the bed.

Let me just say this: If this band was a bunch of guys, there's no way they'd be famous.

I'd actually never heard of these people before in my life...I have to say, if I had listened to their studio work first, I wouldn't be able to stand them. They definitely sound better live. inb4 something about staring at their boobs the whole time.
