Effects Loop with Feedback option... PEEPED?

Ok so I have built looper pedals with feedback option but it's not exactly what I want. I have always wanted to have a volume control on the return of the effects loop.
I see here:
http://www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/Pe ... Volume.gif that I can add a 100K Log/Audio Taper Pot to control the mix. My one concern that this would control the whole volume of my signal and not just the effects.
Is this true? If not then we continue... Instead of a Pot could I use a photo cell so I can control it with my foot?
Also I want to do the same with the feedback. This pedal would pretty much be the Eye of God except with a photocell for the volume of the return.
What do you guys think?

You need to put the pot after 3pdt switch to make it control overal volume even in bypass mode. Or connect red input wire to pot instead of black wire to use it as mix control when not bypassed.

It's not a mix control, the pot is clearly labelled as a
volume control, and the layout description calls it an attenuator: It allows you to reduce the volume of the return signal (say you've got a deafeningly loud pedal with no volume control in the loop) and since the entire guitar signal is sent down that path when the loop is engaged, it will reduce the entire signal.
To make a looper with variable wet/dry mix, you would need to have an active splitter circuit to send half the signal to the loop and half direct to the return. Splitter circuits can be quite simple, but the simplest designs will have separate controls for "wet" and "dry" level. You could wire a photocell to control the wet level, but you'd always have clean signal in the mix: To get a single genuine wet/dry blend control usually requires a pot wired to act as a voltage divider with three connections (i.e. lug 1 = wet, lug2 = output, lug3 = dry) so a photocell with just two connections won't do it.
I am certain there is a way, but it's not going to be simple.

I'm with Nocentelli. All that looper does is switch between the pedal and clean; it's a bypass looper.
I'm tiping this in a bit of a rush so I haven't really thought of it, but you could probably wire two photocells together to have three "inputs". I'll come back to you later when I've thought about it if nobody has answered by then.
