Crazy Effect Wishlist Thread

All right, based on the ridonkulous yet awesome requests posed to Guillaume in the Fairfield delay wishlist thread, I figure it's worth having a central repository for all of ILF's cracked-out ideas for pedals. As I see it, this should be a clarion call to our builders - if you make something totally gonzo, someone here will buy it! Although, honestly, most of you already know that...
Also, if anyone posts something here that already exists, please let everyone know, so we can snatch it up for our own sinister purposes.
Here's the idea I had on the way to work yesterday - I could see someone like Cloudscapes going to town with this idea: Envelope-controlled Stereo Panning Vibrato - a stereo vibrato, set up so that the left-right pan corresponds to the arc of the vibrato pitch. As the pitch sweeps, the pan sweeps from one side to another. Envelope controlled, so the sweep never starts in the middle - always one side or the other (but maybe there should be a switch that turns the envelope on and off). Extra points for switches to control whether the vibrato pitches up or down, and if you can randomize the depth, or sync it to an external source (CV in for Kosta is a must). Extra huge bonus points for a 2nd momentary footswitch that multiplies or divides the speed of the sweep so you can do short bursts of really fast or really slow.

reverse gated fuzz with a pink noise generator that is controlled by fuzz-probe0-esque theramin plate thing.

I WANT A OLD MOOG LPF CIRCUIT IN A WAH! THAT HAS A CV IN SO YOU CAN SEND LFO/RATE CONTROL TO MAKE IT MODULATE!

I really would like to see a delay where the repeats are creating some sorte of random percussive sound.
That would be crazy and awesome!!

This might be doable - Copilot has a white noise generator pedal, and someone else (damn it, I can't remember who) posted that they had some fuzz-probe-type plates coming in. Hmmmmm...
EDIT: It's Adam from Copilot who has the plates coming in! You should totally contact him - if you're serious, I bet he could build this for you.

I attached a wah shell to a Moog LPF - by making a new big baseplate. It's so great opening the cutoff frequency while you're playing! I put a 2-way switch to change from cutoff knob to rocker pedal. Knob at top of rocker pedal adjusts the 'ceiling'.
With the resonance up high, it's fun switching between knob and rocker pedal - two random notes!

a modulation/vibrato/trem unit that'd fit on a pedalboard with a small touchscreen like a cellphone or tablet computer's that you could use to draw waveforms etc.

All these ideas are tits. Hmmm...I guess I would want a Fuzz/envelope follwer, with twin filters, one sweeping up,the other sweeping down, with an additional switch for random mode. Also, the fuzz and filter sections would be independently switchable.

Would an iPhone / iPad app do the trick?

I want an analog through-zero flanger, which has the same asymmetrical LFO waveshape as the sweep on a univibe. And it would be cool if the speed range could go from ridiculously slow (like a 20 or 30 second sweep) to insanely fast (all the way up to audible range for the ring mod thang). I also would want you to be able to freeze the flanger for filter-matrix sounds. I would pay 500 dollars for this pedal. Seriously.
This is actually what I was hoping Moog was going to do with the Cluster Flux.

I wonder if someone could mod a bassballs to do that....

I want something that makes my guitar sound like a meowing cat.
Bonus points it it's switchable between regular meow and that meow your cat does when it sees you're holding a can of fancy feast. You know.. Like "pprrrrrrroowwww"

interesting point,Muddeh. I actually saw a demo of a modded Bassballs that sounded really unique and awesome. I nothing of mods n' such,so not sure what was done. But the distortion sounded fuzzier, and the filter effect was INSANE
