Any idea what fuzz we are hearing @ 1:34? Sounds like it's being starved of voltage. :idk:

Maybe this should be in music?

I could get similar sound with the Plum Crazy FX Fuzzy Lady with the bios knob turn to the left (gated side).

I dont think it sounds anything like the maestro brassmaster/malekko assmaster

Bassboar wrote:Fuzzrite? Maybe?

sounds more like the modded fuzzrite/FY-2 thing I had on the breadboard and threw in the garbage. I dont know what the real fuzzrite sounds like but I got pretty close to that red fang thing with some experiments. could be any fuzz with transistors biased incorrectly actually. if you look at a fuzz factory schematic, all those extra knobs are just starving each transistor individually. maybe if you post on the devi forum they might point you in the direction of one of devi's 8,456,747 broken sounding fuzzes.

I'd buy a four knobbed wolf computer if I were you.

yeah I guess thats one way to do it. if you listen to some wolf demo's, its pretty close. the red fang sound is extremely compressed and it does have some PWM sound going on.

Haha, the perfect description of what I'm hearing as well. Just do this instead of buying pedal!

Also, I believe Red Fang be rockin' Sunn Beta Leads, solid states in their full glory for all the haters. I generally hate on solid state guitar stuff myself but I've never captured sounds like that coming out of one. My mind would change very quickly if that were the case.
