Also.. $85 Hyperions? Heck yes!!

Not to totally kiss ass or anything, but I think it's awesome that you make these pedals affordable like that. I have a Torns Peaker and I love it SO much I just think it's cool that people can get completely rad pedals like that for $100.

/flattery

ultimately we get the last laugh because JHS is just another one of the dumbo TGP brands so it doesn't affect us and it probably won't affect Devi Ever either because her pedals are too affordable and readily available compared to the mystique of the JHS tripe. we just have to make sure that when we're talking to other musicians/guitar players out there that if we say that we're into effects pedals that they don't jump to the conclusion that we're one of 'those' morons.

like i said originally, anyone who would pay $200 for a clone of one of Devi's pedals deserves to.

my position on cloning:

-do it with credit and at the same price as original, otherwise thats just unthoughtful capitalism that can backfire on you if someone finds something satisfyingly similar for a cheaper price. giving credit where credit is due is just a good idea overall, hell even big name companies who do clones always have some kind of tongue in cheek reference to what they're cloning.
-preferably clone older circuits because chances are buying said older pedal isn't worth the price and the "mojo" (aka unreliability) when you can get a modern clone that sounds the same for a fraction of the price. case in point, the Silver Rose. $350 is kinda undeniably steep for one pedal, however considering the options vs buying a clone of each (minus the extra mixy options and active boost) or buying the originals, you either end up spending as much money with less features/flexibility (depending on your stance on blend vs. separate volume) or you pay twice as much for something that will probably crap out on you every other time you turn it on.

Just sayin'.
