I got impatient and blew the cash on something else.

Although this time it payed off and got all the sounds I wanted anyway...

I think this is a great idea!

It should deter some people from re-selling it for outrageous prices.

Then again.. maybe not... given how people continue to sell the timmy far more than just by getting one built.

so what would keep people from pre-ordering and then re-selling them? in fact, what better way to close other buyers out of the market and artificially drive the price up? haven't these folks ever known anyone who dealt with a ticket scalper? just get your guys to sit in the pre-order line...

It should be the same result except this time the mad rush will be focused on a Pre-Order position instead of the pedal

probably makes the order process a lot more manageable for them. i bet their website got hammered when the last batch went on sale. and then they can get the stuff in off the truck, have the shipping labels pre-printed, slap 'em on, and run the units out the door as quickly as possible. win/win, sounds like.

Yeah, I'm sure their goal is less craziness. I commend those guys dealing with that shit. Even upgraded my annoying ass with 2 day shipping after neglecting to purchase it originally. I emailed fully expecting to be ignored yet they hooked it up.

I'm hoping the point is used El Cap's for $200. But that might be too optimistic.
