A Confession

Well, here I go...........I don't like the way the Silver Rose sounds. And the weird thing is, I don't exactly know why. I guess it's a little shrill

maybe, oh I don't know. It might just be the doom in me, I think all fuzz should be thick and dark. Also, I don't like the fact that both circuits are on all the time, unless the blend is set so one circuit is louder then the other, maybe another foot switch or two to separate the circuit is in order. Please don't hurt me you Devi fans.

I don't really want this to become a hate thread, but I couldn't even watch the demo. After a minute or two of the annoying gimmick, I strayed away.

All the silver rose is is a superfuzz

and a IC muff

built into a mixer that mixes between the two circuits and your clean sound and adds some extra EQ, that is it.

My #1 pedal is a superfuzz clone, with a blend... My ONLY thing against this pedal is that the circuits can't be switched from parallel to series

Yeh i didn't get that ether?
I think it has a stupid layout, it should've been laid out like the Blackout Twosome or the EQD Hoof Reaper, where u got both fuzzes on ether side.
Then you got a series/parellel switch and order switcher, no blends, cross over, any of that

Sounds way better, since clean blend is everything that is not good about music.

I hear devi did a bass demo for it? I'll have to look for that.
edit: Found it

Really, I have nothing to hate on this demo. Pedal sounds great, and I actually like that the circuits are parallel (though an option would be nice). I feel no gas as I cop these
toanz already, but it does sound good on bass...with an orange amp...and sunn cab

I like how squishy and foamy it sounds. But if I wanted to go Muff/Octave combo pack,I'd opt for the Rocket. Then you get the amazing chaos feature, and the option to use each circuit individually.
