when read afterwards it looks similar to those spam bot messages... let me put up an example

so i went Crybaby 95Q -> Sovtek Small Stone -> Pigtronix EP1 -> Blackout Eff. Fix'd Fuzz -> Catalinbread DLS -> Boss TR-2 -> Wampler Faux Tape Echo. I had to sell the TR-2 to get some cash... until then, i couldn't notice any volume drop with the Small Stone engaged, but now there is a quite noticable volume drop and i don't think i just didn't hear it before... could it be because my board is fully TB now and i don't have any buffer after the Small Stone?

The volume drop on the Small Stone is pretty well-known. Are any of your other pedals on when you notice the volume drop?

Yes, the small stone volume drop is common but a buffered pedal afterward would help the drop. I'm fairly sure you can mod the small stone to fix the volume drop. You would need to have soldering skills to do it yourself.

Thanks,
Rob

For the record (and the kiddies): long cable length and true bypass pedals results in some loss of high end, not volume drop.
good deals are here.
flesh couch is here.

allright, thanks :) i can solder a bit, soon i'll have to swap the footswitch on my Fix'd fuzz anyway so i might look into that mod, too... eventually, i can always ask over at DIY section
