Shin-ei Companion FY-2 Fuzz is what Colin uses live, I believe.

The Ruiner sounded very good, too
and i guess it will be easier to buy (yeah, if i wanted a Shin-ei, i'd probably get a clone)
the thing is, my friend is kind of a effects virgin, but he totally loves this tone
so he probably doen't want to flip a bunch of fuzzes to find it and he also doesn't really know what fuzz is all about (hard to understand, huh?)... so i wanted to help him a bit, but i'm no expert when it comes to bass fuzz

i'd probably go with MadebyMike since he's from EU (but it depends on the quality of custom green muff that i'm getting from him
