Cant really find a "paint by numbers" build guide on their website. This being my first build ever, havent solder a singel on board component, how do i do? if anybody would care to link to some kind of descent description of how to do this id be more than happy. Havent recived the kit yet so im in no hurry. But i know some of you have built this one before.

You need help with the red llama specifically? Or with how to solder, wire switches/hardware, etc?

I think he is looking for the complete schematic that shows the wiring of the box jacks switch led etc...

Ggg is the bomb. And for the record, the above beavisaudio wiring diagram is definitely the cleanest way to wire a 3pdt.

I disagree, I dont use jumpers like that and my 3PDT only makes one mechanical connection when in bypass mode. this reduces mechanical noise, resistance and capacitance of the switch by half. also, my wiring looks pretty clean. the ground turns on the LED or grounds the send (board input). there are really like 16 or 24 or something correct ways to do the switch. they all work the same really. just very minor athestic and performance differences.

you can use any resistor 2k to 5k. makes no difference if the resistor and the LED switch places. so if the LED is far away from the switch, just wire the LED resistor right off the V+ power jack or the switch. just make sure the LED flat end with the short leg goes towards the switch. I dont wire them like this anymore since I believe in RG's dirty ground clean ground theory(star grounding). but thats such a minor detail, I dont think it really matters. you must connect your audio jack grounds to your power supply negative (v-) aka power ground for this wiring diagram to work. in some pedals, power and audio have no reason to be connected so you wold do something slightly different. let me know if you have any questions

here is an example of a pedal that doesn't need the audio ground connected to the power supply. like if you were making a true bypass loop switcher. that loop switcher will work on the cheaper DPDT stomp switch without the LED. thats a passive pedal. if you add the LED, you just use a 3PDT and use the extra pole for the LED switching. this only works on pedals with power jack only. if it had a battery, the ground would need to be connected to the V negative through the ring and sleeve of the stereo input jack.

So i built it and it worked just fine for a couple of days, and then it just died on me. No more awsome OD/Fuzz, just hum that changes pitch when i turn the gain knob.
Could it be something that have shorted out? Something to do with the ground? Im bad at expressing my self in electrical terms in english, sorry.

that happens when the output is touching the input. it also happens when there is no input. if you have a cut piece of wire rolling around inside, it can bridge connections. if you are new to soldering, you might have some bad solder connections. open it up and use your eyes first. could be something easy.

Okey, i have to check out the solder connections on the switch and to the input, it looks a bit messy. Thanks.
